Naniwa Shuzo welcomes travel agencies and groups of 10 or more for brewery tours and sake tasting.
Spend a special moment inside our historic brewery, designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.

Our company has a history of more than 300 years, and the brewery is a wooden building more than 200 years old.

Both the brewery and the Naruko family residence are Registered Tangible Cultural Properties of Japan.

We still brew sake by hand with care and sincerity.

We have received Gold Prizes at the Annual Japan Sake Awards for four consecutive years.

During the winter brewing season, visitors may be able to see actual brewing work up close.

Tours are guided by the president or the head of production whenever possible.

After the tour, guests can taste and purchase a variety of sake.

Because the brewery is near the sea, visitors can also enjoy nearby places to buy fresh seafood.

The brewery is conveniently located about one hour by car from central Osaka.

Parking is available for large buses.

We can accommodate groups of up to 40 guests by reservation.

NOTE

As December is our busiest season, brewery tours are generally not available during this period.

Residence Tour About 15 min.
We introduce the history of the brewery, the features of its Registered Tangible Cultural Property buildings, and the adjoining historic residence.

Brewery Tour About 20 min.
Step into the sake brewing area and learn about brewing tools, tanks, and the sake-making process.

Sake Tasting About 10 min.
Enjoy tasting several sake selections, including our representative brands.

Shopping About 15 min.
Guests can purchase their favorite sake and limited items at our direct brewery store.

ACCESS Parking and Access

Parking is available for one large bus and seven passenger cars.
Please take Osaka Prefectural Route 250 and turn onto the road across from Hannan Suido Kogyosho. If you are coming from Osaka, turn left. If you are coming from Wakayama, turn right. Continue straight, and the parking area will be on your right.
Large buses must enter the parking area by backing in.
